5. Assistant Professor in Sociology   - 1 (one) Post
6. Assistant Professor in Mass Communication   - 1 (one) Post
7. Assistant Professor in Teacher Education - 1 (one) Post
8. Assistant Professor in History - 1 (one) Post
9. Assistant Professor in Assamese (MIL)   - 1 (one) Post
10. Secretary to VC - 1 (one) Post
Appointments shall initially be for a maximum period of 5 (five) years, renewable subsequently as per the provisions in the Ordinances of the University.
