Applications are invited from the Indian citizens for the post of 1) One Professor in Political Science Deptt., 2) one Associate Professor in the Deptt. of Computer Science Deptt.

Candidates are required to fill up the prescribe application form and submit the same along with all documents & application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs.500 in case of SC/ST) candidates) by Demand Draft in favour of “Registrar, G.U.” payable at SBI, G.U. Branch, addressed to the Registrar, Gauhati University, Administrative Building, Guwahati-781014. and must reach to the Registrar, G.U. latest by 20.01.2013 The envelope should superscribe the post applied for…………………..
For candidate who will be applying for the post of Professor/Associate Professor filling up of the IQAC format of G.U. is mandatory alongwith the application, failing which, the application will be rejected.
Mere fulfillment of qualification will not entitled an applicant for inviting to the interview.
In all cases, two copies of application form with all testimonial need to be submitted.
