Job Description
1. Develops and implements strategic plans, marketing plans, budget, training and goals program to ensure optimum customer satisfaction, sales potential and profitability on an on-going basis.2. Ensures highest level of customer satisfaction by providing quality customer services and amenities within corporate standards.
3. Manages the functions of all personnel through direct and indirect supervision of Managers and Supervisors.
4. Monitors the present and future trends, practices and systems in the Multiplex industry, determines and ensures execution of competitive programs.
5. Participates actively in selling the Multiplex through involvement with all potential markets.
6. Conducts inspections and ensures physical facilities are kept in optimal condition by full implementation of preventive maintenance programs and judicious planning and management.
7. Oversees and directs the personnel function of the Multiplex including recruitment, hiring, orientation, coaching, counselling, training, wage and salary administration, labour relations, performance appraisals and succession planning.
8. Be responsible for the security and safety of customers and employees, and ensures emergency procedures are established, well publicized, practiced and reinforced.
9. Implement management development and succession plans in coordination with corporate and departmental staff, and recommends high quality management candidates from within the Multiplex.
10. Monitors applicable laws and regulations and ensures compliance with the same.
11. Establishes and maintains effective internal communications, including Managers and Supervisors meeting, to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity.
12. Establishes and maintains a prominent level of visibility and involvement in the Multiplex and in business, social and government communities.
13. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
14. Installs and monitors cash management programs, including inventories and receivable.
15. Develops recognition programs, advertising and promotional campaigns, to obtain maximum market awareness and patronage.
16. Monitors purchasing practices to ensure compliance with the Multiplex policies and procedures.
17. Contributes to the Multiplexs overall growth.
18. Obtains reports from various heads of units assigned under him/her.
19. Conducts profit and loss review meetings on a monthly basis with other heads of units and plan strategies for other multiplexes in his/ her area.
20. Monitors, maintains daily performance records of all the multiplex in his/ her area and report the same to the Area Manager – Operations on a daily basis.
21. Maintains harmony and best work environment in the multiplexes and constantly provide expertise and guidance to other multiplexes assigned in his/ her area.
