The North Eastern Council Secretariat, Shillong (Ministry of Development
of North Eastern Region, Government of India) invites applications for fullling
the contractual posts of 3(three) Consultants- one each in the elds of
Agriculture and Allied (Agriculture/ Horticulture), Veterinary & Animal
Husbandry and Civil Engineering disciplines. The candidates will be placed in
the ‘Project Formulation and Quality Management’ (PFQM) Cell in the NEC
Secretariat.
Salary/Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand) for a Degree holders and Rs
40,000/- (Rupees forty thousand) for a Master Degree holders. Conveyance
allowance of Rs. 3,000/- will be allowed.
Period of Hiring: The period of hiring is one year initially which can be further extended
or even terminated before one year due to necessities/ exigencies; but total
extension is limited to 3(three) years.
