1. Asstt. Professor in Statistics: One Post reserved for ST (H)
Applications are invited for the following sanctioned post of
Assistant Professor in the pay band of Rs. 15600 – 39100 + AGP 6000 with other
allowances in the Department of Statistics, Nowgong College.
Candidates should have latest UGC
norms with NET/ SLET/SET as mandatory required qualification. Candidates who
obtained M. Phil degree on or before 10/07/2009 may also apply for the post
excluding the candidates who obtained M. Phil/Ph. D. degree from off campus
centre.
However, the candidates who are
or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum
Standards and Procedure for award of Ph. D. degree) Regulation 2009 shall be
exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/
SET for recruitment and appointment as Assistant Professor.
The candidates must have a
Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and must know local languages.
The age of the candidate should
not be more than 38 yrs as on 01/01/2014 and relax able upto 5 yrs for SC/ ST
candidates.
Candidates who are in service
must apply through proper channel.
Applications along with all
relevant documents and a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.
500/- drawn in favour of the Undersigned
should reach the Principal, Nowgong College within 15
