Brahmputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL), a Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) is a joint venture of GAIL (india) Limited, Oil India Limited, Numaligarh Refinery Limited and Govt. of Assam. The company is setting up a state of the art petrochemical plant of copacity 280,000 TPA at Lepetkata in Dibrugarh District, Assam at a cost of ₹ 8,920 Corores. The ambitious project is expected to deliver pervasive changes to the socio-economic condition of entire North-East region after commissioning.
